Referee Appreciation Night 2022

10:30am

Back for more (fair) fun! Please note the change in location - the Islanders have abandoned us - something the referees would never do!

PREGAME LOCATION: Redd's Biergarten - 10:30AM

37 Market St. Newark, NJ (right next door to Prudential Center)

From NEW YORK Penn Station take the train to NEWARK Penn Station (those place sound similar, I know)

it's a 5 minute walk from the train to the bar - 30 minutes door to door from Manhattan

**Try to get there by 10:30 so that you have some time to hang out before we march to the stadium at 12:20

What is this? (Video Below)
a bunch of strangers (soon to be best friends) going to a hockey game dressed as referees and cheering for the refs...and only the refs - last time there were 360 of us. It was cool.

Tickets - $30

Jerseys - $19 (Limited Stock)

Charity - $5

Charity
*** This year we are raising money for Razom for Ukraine (razomforukraine.org) a charity that came strongly recommended and that has been providing humanitarian aid in Ukraine since 2014 ***

*The purchaser of the largest group order will receive the prestigious Referee Appreciation Night Participation Trophy

**As always, the winner of "Best Sign" - as decided by your fellow refs at the pregame - will have their ticket price fully reimbursed.

Tickets

must be purchased through this website in order to stand with your fellow refs (sections have already been reserved) and must be picked up at the pregame event.

Jerseys

We will be ordering 100 high-quality referee jerseys that can be purchased with your ticket (first come, first served) and must be picked up at the pregame prior to the game. If you already have a referee jersey you do not need to purchase a new one.

**if you want to find a cheaper ref jersey on your own, that's ok too!

BUT YOU DO NEED TO WEAR ONE - DON'T BE THAT REF.

Refunds

the deadline to request a refund for a purchased ticket is March 15th.

Jersey sales cannot be refunded as we will not have the ability to return them once ordered. (That said, we will do our best to find another attendee in need of a jersey if necessary).

**You must pick up your tickets and jerseys at the bar no later than 11:30AM (1 hour prior to puck drop - you are encouraged to arrive earlier if possible).

The purchaser of tickets and jerseys must be present in order to pick up your tickets and jerseys (please bring ID - you should bring that anyway, you're going to a bar).

(After party location TBD)

Attendee Testimonials:

"OMG this was soo much fun!!" - Pete Davidson

"You're still doing this?" - our parents

"I've been to better events" - Anonymous

“These guys get it.”

– Gandhi

What’s what?

WEDNESDAY, APRIL 13

Mobile, Mobile, Mobile

Day 1 is about the word on every marketer’s mouth: Mobile. Why does it matter? And how do we get it right? Attend small group workshops about the future of mobile ads, mobile app development and trends in cross-screen targeting. Learn about the rapid rise of mobile browsing (and what that means to us) in our interactive globe installation. And hear from Kayla Witz, Founder of Mobili-T Media, about how to get caught up, and then get ahead.

THURSDAY, APRIL 14

Data Driven Marketing

We’re capturing more data than ever before. And we’re doing it more precisely. But we’re still not using data to its full potential. Used well, numbers can teach us about each other, inspire our creativity and help us take risks and innovate in our work. One highlight of the day: Peer Exchange sessions, where you can learn about the interesting ways people are using data in the industry. And don’t miss John Taff's impressive presentation about a rare skill: data design.

FRIDAY, APRIL 15

Do Well and Do Good

How do we find meaning in marketing? Is it possible to do more in this industry than help companies sell stuff? Sure is. Raquel Evers of Fortunate Consulting will explain how marketers can use our insights and knowledge about the customer to influence and improve the bigger business strategy.
